Secret report that exonerated Woody Allen

Embattled actor turned director Woody Allen may have been honored with the Cecile B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the most recent Golden Globe Awards, but the story that is lingering in the news is the allegation of child molestation. He was accused of sexually molesting his then 7-year-old step-daughter in 1992 and investigators interviewed her. Their findings were kept secret, but ultimately led to Allen being exonerated of the serious charges. However, Dylan maintains to this day that he molested her.

"[W]hen I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house," Farrow wrote in an open letter to The New York Times. "He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother's electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me."
"He talked to me while he did it, whispering that I was a good girl, that this was our secret, promising that we'd go to Paris and I'd be a star in his movies. I remember staring at that toy train, focusing on it as it travelled in its circle around the attic. To this day, I find it difficult to look at toy trains."

Now, tabloid site Radar Online has obtained the once secret report and published two key pages of it online. In the report, trained medical staff from Connecticut's Yale-New Haven Hospital concluded that Dylan Farrow likely rehearsed her testimony to them and exhibited the characteristics of having been coached on what to say. They also stated that it was their conclusion that Woody Allen did not molest his daughter. The date of the interview was March 17, 1993.

The backdrop of the allegation was Woody Allen's very public affair with Mia Farrow's adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn, an adult. It was obvious in the interview that young Dylan was feeling her mother's pain at the humiliating break up between her mother and adopted father.
