At 56 years of age, Sharon Stone has worked hard to defy the laws of aging. In the March issue of Shape Magazine, she displays her approach to aging gracefully in a bikini and the results speak for themselves.
The aging process was disheartening for Stone and during an adjustment period in her 40's, she decided move forward and accept the inevititable on her terms. Sharon focuses on a balanced approach to fitness which includes a combination of stretching, yoga, and strength training, as well as dance and other improvised excercise opportunities. Stone's nutritional approach involves a high protein diet and a complete abstinence from alcohol. This total body workout routine serves the actress well as she strives to avoid the plastic surgeon and focus more on health and natural beauty. She states in the Shape Magazine interview; “This idea that being youthful is the only thing that’s beautiful or attractive simply isn’t true. I don’t want to be an ‘ageless beauty.’ I want to be a woman who is the best I can be at my age.”
With her upcoming role in the film Fading Gigolo and the new TNT series Agent X, Sharon Stone seems to be at her best.
