Sir Patrick Stewart Mistakenly Outed

Sir Patrick Stewart, the legendary English actor, was recently outed as being a homosexual by the UK's Guardian. The problem is, Patrick Stewart is not gay. In fact, Sir Patrick is married to a gal by the name of Sunny Ozell. The confusion stemmed from a piece in the Guardian that was on recently outed actress, Ellen Page.
Page is perhaps best known for her role in the 2007 film 'Juno', and the talented actress came out as gay at a Human Rights Campaign over the weekend. Writer, Jane Czyzselska, of the Guardian wrote in a piece on Ellen Page: "Some gay people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page's coming out speech is newsworthy because a high-profile and surprisingly politically aware young actress has decided not to play by the rules that so many closeted Hollywood actors are advised to follow if they are to enjoy mainstream success."
Patrick Stewart, the graceful man that he is, didn't think too much of the mishap by the Guardian, having fun with the situation via Twitter. The Guardian later corrected the story on Page that improperly outed Sir Patrick Stewart as gay, citing "The third paragraph originally said 'Some gay people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page's coming out speech is newsworthy.' This should have read 'Some people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page's coming out speech is newsworthy."
