SNL Star Chris Kattan Blames Behavior & DUI on Meds

Santa Monica, California - Chris Kattan, an actor and comedian on the hit show "Saturday Night Live", blames having his odd behavior aboard a flight and his subsequent DUI on prescription meds. While aboard the flight, he was said to nervously pace the aisle of the First Class section making references about being out of his medication. Two of the plane's patrons were physicians and they examined him. Following the flight, he drove off in his car until Los Angeles County police officers arrested him for a DUI after he collided into a parked car from the Department of Transportation (DOT).

As per the arresting officers, the 43-year-old was so "blotto" that they had to prop him up for his mug shot. Kattan briefly addressed the incident with the ubiquitous tabloid group "The Movie Zone" or TMZ. He stated that a recently back operation is causing him pain and his meds are affecting him. No one is disputing whether he has a medical need for painkillers. For his sake, he will be fare much better in court if he can prove he hadn't mixed any alcohol with his medications. He was briefly married for two months in the summer of 2008 until separating. He finalized the divorce six months later.
