Gwyneth Paltrow was photographed last September kissing her ex-boyfriend Donovan Leitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. The formal couple looked very playful and intimate. The photograph shows them taking flirtatious delight in each other's embrace while Paltrow's children with Coldplay front-man Chris Martin sit close nearby.

Did this kiss lead to the recently announced Paltrow/Martin split? It is difficult to imagine that Martin wouldn't be bothered by seeing his wife of ten years lock lips with her former flame. The fact that she did this right in front of their children Apple and Moses has to be even more galling to Martin.

Martin and Paltrow announced their split after ten years two days ago while on vacation in the Bahamas. Amidst swirling rumors of steamy affairs on both sides of the marriage and even reports of a scandalous open marriage, Paltrow said that the split was a "conscious uncoupling".

The couple submitted a joint statement, saying "We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time."
