Former veteran clerk pulls gun on robber
One unfortunate robber picked the wrong liquor store to hold up when he met his match choosing to pull out a gun at a thirty year old clerk who also happened to be a military veteran. The burglar walked into the store in Marionville, Mo. with a lit cigarette. The military clerk told him to put out his cigarette but the burglar chose not to comply and whipped out a gun.
No doubt the burglar thought he would walk away with a nice wad of cash and while still finishing off his smoke, but 54 year old Jon Lewis Alexander had other ideas. Alexander is a military vet that has served four Iraq tours and in less than a second had his gun barrel just a few inches from the burglar’s face. The security video shows Alexander hardly missing a beat as he shoved down the man’s gun and grabbed his own.
The store owners were reported to be happy with the outcome and proud of Alexander who seemed completely comfortable with his actions. In fact, while the video circulating online has no sound, reports are that he threatened to ‘blow the man’s brains’ out. No doubt this burglar is going to think twice next time he considers a robbery.
