Charity Pierce, a 38 year old mother and fiancée from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is determined to rein in the most difficult accomplishment of her life.

Weighing in at an astonishing 765 pounds, making her one of the heaviest women alive, Ms. Pierce has vowed to turn her life around – and why? To be able to walk down the aisle in a beautiful bridal gown towards the love of her life, Tony Sauer.

"I’m determined not to have to get married at home –- I want to be able to walk up the aisle," she told Barcroft TV. "We both love country music so I plan to wear a wedding dress, cowboy boots and cowgirl hat and Tony will be in jeans and cowboy boots."

Ms. Pierce's weight problems are reported to have started early on, weighing over 500 pounds since her teenage years. Problems were exacerbated after Pierce became house-bound several years ago due to the development of a lymphedema on her left hip – swelling tremendously and causing great pain. With extreme difficulty in mobility and fear of public ridicule, Charity Pierce no longer leaves her home.

Assisting her with her ever restricted daily activities at home are her 18 year old daughter - Charly Pierce, and her fiancé – Tony Sauer.

After weighing in at 765 pounds on especially designed scales brought to her living room, Charity Pierce has vowed to lose up to 200 pounds – on her own – in order to qualify for gastric bypass surgery. With the assistance of her personal physician, Pierce has assumed simple exercises and has reduced her daily calorie intake to 1,200 calories. Pierce's previous calorie intake resided at 10,000 calories per day.

Believing that gastric bypass surgery essential to turning her life around, Ms. Pierce is struggling to meet the surgery's weight requirement. Fighting a very frustrating, slow and uphill battle, Ms. Pierce needs all of the support that she can get. One doctor in Houston, however, is willing to operate on qualified candidates who are over 600 pounds. This would cut Charity Pierce's weight loss goal of 200 pounds in half. But in order to get to the doctor in Houston, the Pierce household would have to come up with $5,000 to take her via ambulance, the only vehicle equipped to carry her. Her dreams of a princess wedding and a beautiful white dress on hold, Charity Pierce's struggle continues.
