First Glimpse at Kate Gosselin’s Twin Girls

Well look who grew up and got so pretty! Kate Gosselin’s twin girls Mady and Cara gave an interview with People Magazine which is due out in stores on January 20. In the interview, the vivacious 13-year-old girls speak out on a range of subjects including their father’s infamous 2009 affair that made the family become the bread and butter of the tabloid industry.

The twins said that people expect them to be damaged goods just because of their father’s indiscretion and the subsequent divorce. Mady, the younger sister by several minutes, made the bold declaration that they bear no scars from the experience. Her sister Cara chimed in and concurred saying that they are actually doing quite well.

When asked about their mother, Mady said that she tends to be bothersome. Well, that certainly is a healthy sign and there are tens of millions of teenagers who feel similarly about their parents.

“People expect us to be damaged,” Cara says, as Mady joins in: “People think we’re supposed to be messed up, like, ‘Oooooh, the poor Gosselin kids, they’re going to be scarred for life, waaaaah.’ Here’s the big news: we’re not messed up,” the girls told People Magazine.

The girls also said that their mom was annoying, and that looking back they disapprove of their dad Jon Gosselin’s former dating habits.

“Like girlfriends, lots of girlfriends. Like, maybe it wasn’t so normal to have someone new, like, every week,” Maddy said.

“Every day, every minute, every second!” Cara added of Jon’s love life.

Mrs. Gosselin herself wishes her twin girls wouldn’t grow up so fast. She expressed a desire that they could be a little more innocent IE dependent on her. It’s never hard for a parent to start letting go of their children. She did admit that she is quite proud of the girls and how they are maturing.
