Free Shipping Day 2013 is Here

Published

 on

It might be getting a bit late in the holiday shopping cycle, but for most people, there's still a few people that they need to find something for - and time is really starting to run short. Even worse, we are very quickly closing in on the last day where it would be possible to have items shipped from online stores.

Thankfully, some of these online stores are offering a small amount of welcome relief with the fifth annual free shipping day. For just one single day (Wednesday, December 18), a surprisingly robust number of online storefronts, including JCPenney, RadioShack, and Eddie Bauer will offer free shipping on any single item.

There are currently some 921 merrchants joining in this year's Free Shipping Day 2013 event. Even more importantly, all of the stores that are offering this free shipping are also guaranteeing that delivery of whatever you order will arrive no later than December 24th, meaning that you'll have plenty of time to wrap up the present and stick it under the tree before the big gift opening ceremony that will take place the following day. Of course, it's also important to note that this is more or less your last chance - after this, getting items from online stores by Christmas becomes nigh-impossible.
