Rapper Doe B, 22, dies in bar shooting

Rapper Doe B; 21, real name, Glenn Thomas, died during a shooting at Centennial Hill Bar and Grill in Montgomery, AL on Saturday, Dec. 28. Another victim that died in the shooting is, 21-year-old Kimberle Johnson. Johnson died at the scene, while Thomas died at a local hospital.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m., with a total of eight people being shot; 6 wounded and 2 dying. According to Montgomery’s Mayor; Todd Strange, the shooting is still under investigation. So far, there have been no arrests made for the act.

The establishment; Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, has already been shut down. According to Mayor Strange, to leave the establishment open to the public, poses a risk for their safety. Shutting its doors will reduce the risk of future endangerment to the general public. The shootings occurred despite there being club security on duty. The police know that it it’s not a matter of “if” there’s another shooting, but “when.”

The police are confident that the perpetrator(s) will be caught and apprehended. It may take some time, along with heavy investigating, but they will be found out, and caught so that they can’t do this again. Protecting the public is the number one concern.
