The SAT is a standardized test for most college admissions in the United States. The SAT is owned, published, and developed by the College Board, a nonprofit organization in the United States. It was formerly developed, published, and scored by the Educational Testing Service which still administers the exam. The test is intended to assess a student's readiness for college. It was first introduced in 1926, and its name and scoring have changed several times. It was first called the Scholastic Aptitude Test, then the Scholastic Assessment Test.

Spur’s Center Matt Bonner Scored 1350 on SAT Score

6’10” power forward and center Matt Bonner of the San Antonio Spurs is no muscle head or stereotypical basketball star of all game and no education.

The giant from Concord, New Hampshire, actually scored an impressive 1350 on his high school SAT exam back in the late 90s. His parents placed a lot of emphasis on his education and he was a top student at Concord High School. Afterwards, he went to the University of Florida where he played college basketball from 1999 to 2003.

Bonner went professional after getting his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a cumulative GPA of 3.96. Bonner has enjoyed a good career in the NBA but it has yet to match his academic performance. With one notable exception of a B in college chemistry, Bonner has never received a grade less than “A” in all the years of his education.

It is quite likely that Bonner’s post-NBA career will be a meaningful one because of his education. All too often, former NBA players struggle to adjust to post-NBA life and end up burning through the wealth they accumulated during their playing years.

For his part, Bonner would like to play for a Canadian team some day. He is married to a Canadian.

Here are 3 more impressive SAT scores:

Bill Clinton – Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, attended Yale Law School and was a law professor at the University of Arkansas. The SAT scores that we obtained on the Internet lists Clinton’s SAT score at 1032 which translates an IQ of 110. This has to be a hoax, the average mean IQ for attorneys is 127 which seems more realistic than an IQ of 110. Elsewhere the Internet lists Clinton’s IQ score at 137 which is probably correct.

Al Franken – Al Franken’s SAT score was found on the Internet and is listed at 1020 which translate to an IQ of 110. This score has to be incorrect, for he attended Harvard College and earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts. He graduated cum laude “with outstanding honor” in political science. He is currently the junior United States Senator from Minnesota. Franken’s IQ is probably in the 120 – 135 range. Though we have no proof of this. We are challenging apparent hoax and misinformation.

Al Gore – Al Gore’s SAT score is listed at 1035 which translates into an IQ of 134 which is probably correct. Al Gore enrolled in Harvard College in 1965, initially planning to major in English and write novels, but later deciding to major in government. Gore graduated with an Bachelor of Arts cum laude in June 1969. Moreover, Gore served as the 45th Vice President of the United States (1993 – 2001), under President Bill Clinton. He was the Democratic Party’s nominee for President in the 2000 U.S. presidential election.
