This is not the first cross for Rihanna, as Bang Bang previously tattooed a much smaller and simpler cross on her collarbone. Speculation of involvement with the Illuminati and a propensity for dark spiritual beliefs are sure to follow this latest ink, as it has in the past. The singer hasn't commented specifically on these rumors, but she has shared specific personal meaning about some of her ink, and in an interview with The Sun, she said, "My tattoos are all spiritual."

Time will tell what tattoo Rihanna will get next, but it seems likely she will return to Bang Bang when she wants more, as he has done all of her tattoos since 2007. Rihanna even flew Keith "Bang Bang" McCurdy out to the Dominican Republic to tattoo her while she was on tour last October. Bang Bang is also known for tattooing Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and many other celebrities.
