Lamar Odom Opens Up About Failed Marriage to Khloe Kardashian

Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain - Lamar Odom's career in the NBA may be over at age 34, but this is a global economy and the United States of America, despite its wealth, is not the only game in town. The 6'10" muscular forward has plenty of game left in him and there are other professional basketball leagues eager to have someone of his clout play on their team. The Basque of Spain are one such group and they have secured a one-year deal with the two-time NBA champion of the 2009 & 2010 Los Angeles Lakers.

Naturally, the press are eager to know as much of the celebrity basketball star as they can and in a recent interview, he was asked about his failed marriage to socialite Khloe Kardashian. He candidly stated that in his heart he still sees her as his wife, even though he understands they are going through a divorce. He expressed a belief that she will always be his wife. He reflected upon the early years of his marriage to Khloe, whom he married in September of 2009, and stated that they were the best years of his life. There really was no need to ask him if he's still in love with her because he made that clear on his own both implicitly and explicitly.

Mr. Odom then opined that in a marriage, both parties make mistakes. He did things wrong and Khloe did as well. However, he's not dwelling on his past errors. He stated that if he had to do it all over again, mistakes and all, he would not deviate from how he did things. He expressed a hope that perhaps he and Khloe may reconcile as he wants to save the marriage. He then laughed as he acknowledged his faults both on and off the court.
