A Look At The 2015 Ford Focus

Updated

 on

Ford seeks to keep their momentum going with a thoroughly refreshed Focus. The Focus has been a worldwide hot seller for the blue oval and with updated styling, new technology, and improved fuel economy, Ford is making sure that buyers shopping in this class stay focused on the Focus.

There is revised sheet metal for 2015. The face of the Focus looks sharper and more purposeful with a new grill and bolder headlights. The truck lid of the sedan and the rear hatch of the hatchback, along with the taillights, have also been updated, adding to the Focus's more direct overall look.

Changes are not limited to the exterior, however, as the Focus gets updated materials and a revised layout. Additionally, there is new technology in the way of driver aids including lane departure warning, standard rear view camera, and blindspot monitoring.

The biggest news for the 2015 Focus is that it will have a new engine choice for the US market: a three cylinder 1.0 liter turbocharged Ecoboost engine. This tiny engine produces 123 hp and 146 lb-ft or torque in the Focus's little brother, the Fiesta, in other markets and gets considerably better fuel economy then the base 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine.
