Manny Is Still Manny:

Sorry Lou Ferrigno, but Manny Ramirez is vying to topple your popularity as the Hulk. Manny Ramirez dressed up as the Incredible Hulk as he and the EDA Rhinos, the Taiwanese team that he is playing for, took a train ride between cities, toward their next game.

The manager of the Rhinos decided to sponsor a team wide Halloween theme as a fun, marketing ploy. Copying the theme costume events like the Rays', manager, Joe Maddon does, Manny and his team members donned Halloween costumes on the train along the coast of Taiwan.

Manny only lasted 17 at bats for the Tampa Bay Rays. After registering one hit and a failed drug test, he retired from Major League Baseball. Maybe if his 40 year old, fun loving, Silver Slugger award winner, had stuck it out with the Tampa Bay Rays, he would have worn a Hulk costume anyway.

As the photos show, he could have succeeded in being the Hulk, except for his sunglasses and toe shoes. Power hitter Manny Ramirez probably would have dressed up in something ridiculous anyway because he is happily hitting .347 for the EDA Rhinos. The Taiwan Bay Rays has resurrected Manny's career, with fans and announcers loving it when he takes the field.
