Both Oscar Pistorious and Brother Facing Prison Terms

Not only is Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorious facing a lengthy prison sentence following the murder of his model girlfriend, his brother Carl is also facing homicide charges for his role in a 2008 motor vehicle accident in which a female motorcyclist became a fatality.

An attorney for the family revealed that Carl Pistorious originally had all charges against him dropped after the accident in which a woman motorcyclist crashed into his vehicle.

Carl was tested at the time and not found to be under the influence of alcohol. It was not immediately clear why murder charges have been reinstated against Carl Pistorious, who appeared in court last week in support of his brother Oscar when he was granted bail and released into the custody of his aunt and uncle after turning in his passport.

Now both brothers in the Pistorious family are facing legal challenges and possible jail sentences for their involvements in two women losing their lives.
