ony Blair's Daughter Held At Gunpoing During Attempted Street Robbery
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair's daughter was held at gunpoint this past Monday in an attempted street robbery. According to reports, two men approached Kathryn Blair and demanded her jewelry and money while she attempted to walk her dog with her boyfriend at 8:30 PM local time.

The two men did possess a firearm but it was not used during the attempted robbery. There is no information on how the robbery fell through, but Blair had nothing stolen from her and nobody ended up getting hurt in the confrontation.

There is a possible link between two crimes that occurred in the same area that evening. In that same part of town there was a burglary just 30 minutes earlier.

Although her father is a very controversial figure for entering the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and is seen as a target for potential terrorist plots, Tony Blair's daughter does not receive any type of security while out in town.
Gun crime has become a rarity in Britain and has fallen even moreso over the past 10 years. Murders are very rare, however clearly in tough economic times people will go to extremes to find a way to make it.
