Your account Apple has been used spam mail
From the USB technology, Bluetooth technology, and iPhones, Apple Inc. has been a bona fide revolutionary in the world of technology that has touched the lives of hundreds of millions of users directly or indirectly. Now, Apple has filed a patent that promises to usher in a world of spam free e-mail for their users and perhaps others as well.
The company, famous for being user-friendly, has petitioned the U.S. Patent Office regarding a new technology that will allow it to conduct server level e-mail filtering for spam content. If successful, Apple Mail users will have the ability to offer up disposable e-mail addresses which both shield their true e-mail addresses and offer Apple the ability to potentially track down spammers.
In keeping with the Apple tradition of user-friendliness, end-users won’t have to do a thing to enjoy spam-free e-mail. It will be business as usual for them except they should see a reduction in unwanted e-mail traffic. News of this patent application comes at a very good time. This past week Apple announced a major omission in their implementation of the SSL & TSL protocols that allowed for a potential hacker to access & modify data otherwise considered to be securely transmitted between a user and a third party.
