Aaron Rodgers Slams Persistent Rumors: ‘m Not Gay”

Green Bay Quarterback Rodgers Insists He’s Straight

There have been many rumors swirling around recently regarding the sexual orientation of Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. But Rodgers recently took time on his weekly radio program to put the rumors to rest once and for all. Rodgers told his ESPN radio listeners in Wisconsin that he was definitely not homosexual, that he really likes women and refused to elaborate further on the topic. But he did admit that “crazy rumors” can get started from out of nowhere when fans don’t respect the boundary that separate’s a famous athlete’s public life from his private life.

Rodgers says that it can be very challenging to be in the spotlight all of the time and he especially feels badly when fans take it the wrong way when he refuses to sign an autograph because he’s eating dinner or doing something that most other people would consider personal business.

“There isn’t a whole lot of separation from your public and private life,” Rodgers said. “You always have to be on at times. Occasionally, people will get upset if you say ‘no’ to a picture when you’re eating dinner or something. That’s kind of the hard part. Or if you get crazy rumors that swirl around you from time to time that are just silly.”

Many gossip columnists have been busy recently fueling rumors that Rodgers doesn’t have a special lady in the life at the moment because he has actually been in a longtime relationship with Kevin Lanflisi, who serves as his personal assistant. There has been no comment from Lanflisi about his sexual orientation.
