Antoine Dodson “No Longer into Homosexuality”

Move over George Rekkers, Ted Haggard, and Paul Crouch, because here comes internet celebrity Antoine Dodson of Huntsville, Alabama, who announced on his Facebook page that he is “no longer into homosexuality”.

Claiming that he has been awakened from “The Glory”, the man who made a career and fortune stemming from a rap song about defending his sister against a rape attempt, Dodson proclaimed that his involvement in the Hebrew Israelite religion has given him the ability to move from homosexuality to heterosexuality. He said that he now wants to marry a woman and raise a family. His new found enlightenment would make a Buddhist monk proud as Dodson no longer needs a “Mercedes-Benz” and a fancy crib in Beverly Hills.

Dodson claims all he needs is “The Glory (God)” and his family (members of the Hebrew Israelite congregation). He further explains his new found enlightenment in a video where he explains the need to please God. Viewers should be aware that the video contains multiple expletives which curiously do not seem to offend “The Great” in Dodson’s view.

Dodson claims he is a true Hebrew Israelite descendant of Judah. Time will tell if the flamboyant singer has turned in his celebrity lifestyle for a circumspect religious life.
