Just in time for upcoming Memorial Day cookouts, Oscar Meyer will introduce a true American love affair: Bacon Hot Dogs! That is correct. Imagine a delicious Oscar Meyer hot dog, with real bacon added in. That will even make a vegan’s mouth water. Oscar Meyer is a trusted name when it comes to pork, so most folks are not second guessing this move. If anyone could pull off a bacon hot dog it would be Oscar Meyer.

According to www.articles.chicagotribune.com the director of Oscar Meyer hot dogs, Jared Baker cites that this was a natural choice considering how much Americans love hot dogs and how much they love bacon. We can only hope the trend will catch and there will be more products popping up with our favorite pork product hidden inside.

“We know Americans love bacon, and we know they love hot dogs, so it seemed like the perfect time for us to introduce our first hot dog made with bacon,” said Baker.
