Bobbi Kristina Weds Fiance Nick Gordon in Surprise Ceremony

Singer Whitney Houston’s little girl has grown up and surprised family members as well as fans by announcing that she has wed fiancé Nick Gordon. The new bride chose to announce her new marital status with a posting on her Twitter account in which she showed off her new wedding ring set to fans, positioning her hand over her new husband Nick’s. The couple were first engaged two years ago, but then called it off the following year in the wake of criticism that Gordon, who lived with Bobbi and Whitney in the same household for many years, were more like brother and sister than boyfriend and girlfriend.

The couple began dating against last summer and made their second engagement official in July. At the time, Bobbi said she was tired of people expressing outrage that she was engaged to her brother and making comments about whether or not her famous mother would approve of the love match. In Bobbi’s announcement about the surprise wedding, she characterized the pair as being “happily married” and “so in love” but didn’t provide any additional details about when and where the ceremony took place or if any family members or friends were in attendance.
