Boyz II Men Threaten Lawsuit

Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris, and Shawn Stockman all collectively known as “Boyz II Men” have reunited once again, this time off stage, to fight for their groups. Known the world over as a very popular R&B musical group; Boyz 2 Men has stepped up to threaten legal action to some filmmakers who are planning to title an upcoming movie project “Boys 2 Men.” Although the spelling is different the group feels that their band name is being used without their consent and without compensation.

You couldn’t get too close to a radio without hearing one of Boyz II Men’s hit records. The home grown products from Philadelphia hit the big time after being signed by Motown Records. In 1991 the band along with original member Michael McCarry released the album Cooleyhighharmony which included their first big hits “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” and “MotownPhilly.” Committed to not being a flash in the pan the group went on to break sales records of music icons such as Elvis Presley with their later hits “On Bended Knee”, “I’ll Make Love to You”, and “End of the Road.”

In recent years the band has been absent from the charts but continues to tour the world playing their unique sound for fans.
