Carly Booth, Golf Player In Hot Water With Club After ESPN Body Issue Spread

21-year-old Carly Booth of Comrie, Scotland, has given fellow golfers at Old Course a reason to blush.
The golf professional has taken part in a nude spread for ESPN’s annual “Body Issue”. There have been many golf legends to play at the venerable golf course, but Booth may be the first patron to have done a nude spread, reports the Scotsman.
Admittedly, Booth says she was approached by ESPN to take part in the special edition last year, but needed some time to think about it. Ultimately, it was the fact that 77-year-old South African golf legend Gary Player took part in the special issue that convinced her to agree. She also said the long list athletes who’ve participated in prior issues took away a lot of the stigma for her.
Booth says that players have responded pretty well to the photo shoot overall and have made mostly positive comments to her. In fact, she said if anyone’s had anything negative to say about it, it hasn’t been said to her directly. She made her comments as she was set to participate in a golf tournament at Old Course at Saint Andrews. It is a golf course which she’s particularly fond of playing.
And if the former private schoolgirl’s naked ambition wasn’t enough to shock some of the more genteel members of the golf community, her tattoos might be.
