81-year-old Casey Kasem is nearing the end of his journey in life. His wife of 33-years, the buxom and curvaceous 5’10” blond actress, has issued a statement to the press that her husband has only several months left to life. Kasem suffers from Parkinson’s syndrome and it is reported that he is no longer of a sound mind.
The Kasem’s former caregiver and housekeeper, Hilda Loza, accuses Mrs. Kasem as mistreating her and filed a lawsuit against her. Mrs. Kasem was supposed to appear in court this past Friday, but informed the judge through her lawyer that she would not be in attendance due to her husband’s deteriorating health.
In good news for her, Loza did not properly serve the couple notice of the lawsuit prompting the judge to dismiss the case on a technicality.
Unfortunately, Mrs. Kasem’s legal woes are far from over. Her husband’s children from his first marriage are suing to get legal conservatorship over her husband’s estate.
At issue is the concern that with their father’s death they will be shut out of the inheritance. The children claim they are excluded from visiting their father in his dying condition. Casey Kasem thrilled listeners with his weekly program American Top 40 which played Sunday on AM stations across the nation.
