Daisy Gutierrez charged with murdering ex-boyrfriend, Had Help From Father

Chicago, IL – Police have arrested 19-year-old Daisy Gutierrez and her 56-year-old father Salvador for their part in assisting with the disposal of murdered victim Jose Reyes. The victim was from Honduras and had been Daisy’s boyfriend despite being age 30. Apparently, her new boyfriend was jealous of Reyes and hatched a plot to kill him.
While Daisy did not take part in the actual murder of Reyes, she did draw him up to her bedroom under the guise of performing an exotic dance for his pleasure, reports the Daily Mail.
While he watched her strip, her new boyfriend jumped him from behind and repeatedly stabbed him. Following the murder, the assailant cut off Reyes’ head.
It was then that Daisy implored her father to help them hid the body. For reasons unknown, the father went along with the plot to hide the body. It may have been filial loyalty or the fact that his daughter is three months pregnant by the murderer. Either way, the father dug the grave while Daisy and her boyfriend dismembered Reyes and placed the pieces inside of garbage bags which they dropped into the grave.
“This is another example of great detective work. The officers had this as a missing persons case and was very relentless in figuring out what happened to this young man,” Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy said.
“We’ve been able to almost bring that case to closure. There are some t’s to be crossed and i’s to be dotted but we are right on the verge of doing that. Obviously a terrible, terrible tragedy for the family of this young man,” Supt. McCarthy said.
The young couple then fled to New Jersey. Somehow, the police were able to uncover the body and secure confessions from both father and daughter who are now being held in jail.
According to reports, Daisy Gutierrez is three months pregnant. She’s currently being held at Cermak Hospital.
