Former Partridge Family member, David Cassidy arrested for 3rd DUI
David Cassidy was arrested in Los Angeles after being stopped for driving under the influence. The former teen idol, best known as Keith Partridge from the Partridge Family, had a BAC of 0.19, according to reports by TMZ. This is the third time he has been arrested for this offense. His last arrest was approximately six months ago. That incident occurred in New York, and Cassidy entered rehab as a result of that arrest.

A prior conviction for DUI in Florida occurred several years prior in 2011. Cassidy pled guilty to misdemeanor charges. The current charges could lead to a felony DUI conviction if the judge considers all of the arrests that Cassidy has had. His attorney said that he relapsed after feeling pressured by a deposition that he underwent as a part of an unrelated lawsuit.

Mr. Cassidy spoke from a rehab, stating that he is working hard to beat his addiction to alcohol. He also said that he is under the best of care, and he thanked loyal fans and friends for their steady support. He promised that he would continue to work towards sobriety. No information was available as to when Cassidy would be expected back in court to learn his fate for the DUI.
