A cheetah attack would be a pretty cool way to die, right? That’s what Adam Sandler said when he was attacked by a cheetah and had accepted his fate. Thankfully one of our favorite Hollywood funny men survived. It sounds just as ridiculous as you’d expect from him, and possibly even a prank.
In an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman, he actually shared a video clip of his visit to a safari wildlife park in Africa. He was taking a break from filming a movie with Drew Barrymore, and enjoying getting up close and personal with the animals; until the incident of course.
The workers at the park told him he could feed the cheetah with his hands, but they also said not to bend down low by the water. This is when the cheetah attacked Sandler by jumping on his back. He stated at that point he’d accepted his fate, which may explain why he appeared so calm in the video. After the worker pulled the cheetah off his back, he slowly stood up. He said contrary to his appearance, he was very nervous and had a stiff neck, so he had to stand up slowly.
Meanwhile Sandler’s new comedy Grown Ups 2 has been panned by critics. The film which stars Sandler, David Spade and Chris Rock is currently sitting at 8% on Rotten tomatoes. Perhaps JEFFREY LYLES from Lyles Files summed it up best:
If “Grown Ups 2” was anything in the ballpark of a “good movie,” then sea cucumber excrement is tasty. (One of the dirtiest animals on the planet, they resemble a long sausage and dine on dead animal carcasses).
Ouch!
