Fake South African Interpreter accused of Murder

The news coming out about the “fake” interpreter is growing more bizarre every day. The news about Thamsanga Jantjie is becoming more frightening and incredible. Now reports coming out of South Africa report that the interpreter may have been accused of rape and murder.

A news station in South Africa is reporting that Thamsanga Jantjie had been investigated for murder about 10 years ago. Investigators have said they will “compile a comprehensive report”, but no one knows the time frame on the investigation or when additional information will be given about this alleged murder. Reports are also surfacing about this “interpreter” saying that it’s not just murder that he’s been accused, but also rape in 1994. Other criminal activities he’s been associated with are, housebreaking and property damage in the 1990’s. He was acquitted of most of the charges.

Jantjie, is not talking about the alleged murder, however a day or two earlier he did admit that he has schizophrenia and has indeed been violent in the past. He said he had been violent numerous times in the past. He did say he has also hallucinated in the past, and did indeed hallucinate at Mandela’s funeral. Jantjie said he saw “angels descending into the stadium”.

Only time and a intense investigation will answer the questions about the murder, but for now the world community is still wondering how a man, with such a background could get so close to President Obama and so many world leaders.
