Trial Begins for Perps Who Burnt Man Alive for Poaching Tinnies

Darwin, Australia – the trial of Gary Miles is now underway for the murder of 47-year-old Paul Stamp of the Western Territory. Stamp had only recently arrived in this northern territory city in the hopes of getting work in the mines. He had taken up a bed in the flat being rented by Miles and given a strict order not to touch any of the remaining tinnies (beers). However, Miles and his other flatmate Gregory Channing returned later that night to find that the four remaining beers were missing.

Miles and Channing were put off by Stamp’s disregard towards Miles’ personal property and promptly went over to where Stamp was sleeping and beat down on him.

According to both men, they had the intention of teaching Stamp a less he’d never forget when they tossed him in the boot (trunk) of a car and set off for an industrial part of the city where they intended to dump him and let him walk his way back to the flat.

Instead, they claim the car ran out of fuel and they decided instead to set to car on fire with Stamp still trapped in the boot. Channing was recently convicted of the charges of denying Stamp his liberty and assault. Miles is the one who set to car on fire with a cigarette and is on trial for murder.
