Guildford Police Pull Over NYPD Cop Car

Man Driving NYPD Car in Metro-London Arrested

Guildford, England – Mark Knight, age 33, thought he’d step out in his authentic NYPD cop car for some McDonald’s chow and ended spending a half a day in the Gaol. Arresting officers charged Knight with impersonating a police officer. The attractive and attention grabbing car certainly looked out of place thousands of miles away from its native Big Apple environment.

At some point, officers approached the car to inquire about the nature of the vehicle. They subsequently searched the car and found police equipment and well-made replicas of police weapons, but it isn’t clear if the replicas could fire live rounds. Either way, that was enough for them to arrest Knight. It should be noted that it is not being reported whether Knight told anyone he was a police officer. Thus far, the only means he had of impersonating an officer of the law was to drive a police vehicle from a foreign country.

It’s being reported that the vehicle in question has been used as a prop in motion pictures, but which ones aren’t stated. It would be interesting to know on what basis Knight was freed from jail. Did he post bond or was he simply released?
