Harrison Ford In For New Star Wars

It is looking more and more like Star Wars Episode VII will include the original trio of Harrison Ford, as Hans Solo, Mark Hamil, as Luke Skywalker, and Carrie Fisher, as Princess Leia. Ford was interviewed during a red carpet event recently promoting his latest movie, the Jackie Robison story, 42. When asked if he was going to be getting together with the others from the original movie he replied, “I think it’s almost true. I’m looking forward to it…it’s not in the bag yet, but I think it’s happening.”
Disney, who purchased the rights to the Star Wars franchise last October, is planning to have Episode VII in theaters in 2015, and is also planning to release additional films in the series every two or three years after. There is also talk of spin-off films that could come out in between those movies and be set within the timeline of the original three movies.
