Ian Cuthbert Humiliates Wife by Posting Flyer

An English cowboy wannabe may be in the running for worst husband of all-time following his attempt to humiliate his wife publicly after she left their troubled marriage. Ian Cuthbert was so angry that he plastered his neighborhood with bogus posters and flyers saying his wife Alison Kidd had committed adultery.

The poster featured a picture of her in lingerie saying she had committed adultery within days of getting married. Big letters at the bottom of the poster proclaimed: Lock up your husbands. Cuthbert was hauled into court to answer charges about his smear tactics.

Kidd, 34, said Cuthbert, 46, an IT manager, put the posters near her place of employment as a nursery assistant to humiliate her, adding she was embarrassed and shocked by his actions. She wasn’t surprised her would pull a stunt like that because he was a nasty person, she said. She also called him paranoid and bitter.

Cuthbert didn’t deny putting up the offensive posters and literature. He will be sentenced for those transgressions. Police said he’ll probably escape with just community service and no prison time. Kidd says the marriage was extremely abusive and now is over as she moves on with her life.
