Jen Arnold, the 3’2″ co-star of the TLC reality TV series “The Little Couple, is using Twitter to update her fans on her recently announced battle against cancer. The long running series has been airing since May 2009 and features the petite female dwarf alongside her 4” husband. She is suffering from a rare form of cancer, but the combination of surgery and chemotherapy has given her reason to hope. Her neonatologist confirmed to her that she has a very good chance of recovery.
Arnold is the mother of two adopted children. In a statement to her fans, she confesses that there is never a good time to battle a health crisis, but she is thankful for the love she gets from her husband and children.
In one selfie she recently posted, the ever cheerful Arnold featured her bald head in the hospital room where she is undergoing chemotherapy. There is nothing quite like watching someone persevere cheerfully through adversity to give others inspiration. In a tweet she sent her fans a few days before Christmas, she admitted to canceling a chemotherapy session so that she would have the energy to better enjoy the holiday. She said that baking cookies with her family was one of those incomparable joys of life.
