Katy Perry Completely Unrecognizable in Latest Music Video

Katy Perry’s latest music video is definitely a unique one for her. It looks like she truly wanted to become unrecognizable and succeeded in doing so in a very funny way. The most recent video, called “Birthday,” sees the pop icon transforming into a group of the “world’s worst birthday part entertainers.”

She took on the role of various very different characters, like an old woman, a Jewish MC and comedian, a clown, an animal trainer and a princess. With all the makeup and costume work that went into creating these characters, it is practically impossible to tell just by looking at them that they are played by Katy Perry.

The preview of the “Birthday” video clip was made available online today. Upon viewing it, many people were actually quite amused by it. Some have even compared Katy Perry’s ability to completely transform herself into a different character with the work of comedian and actor Sasha Baron Cohen, who is well known for his portrayal of various fictional characters, like the Kazakh reporter Borat, the gay Austrian fashion journalist called Bruno and also his most recent movie where he took on the role of a despotic dictator.
