With an impending divorce from Lamar Odom awaiting her in 2014, Khloe Kardashian is reported to have cooled her romance with baseball star Matt Kemp amid fears of how it would affect her public image. Reality TV star, Khloe has grown close to the LA Dodgers player, who has comforted her during the breakup of her marriage to former LA Laker Lamar.

Rumors began to circulate of the romance between the 29 year old Kardashian sister and Kemp, also 29 when the pair were seen together after numerous gym sessions. With Kemp accompanying Khloe to the annual Kardashian Christmas Eve party hosted by Kris Jenner reports of a romance went into overdrive.

However, with Khloe only recently splitting with basketball star Lamar, following reports of his alleged cheating with three women over the Summer of 2013 the star quickly moved to cool the budding romance with Kemp. Worried that she would be seen as the one cheating on her husband, Khloe has reportedly distanced herself from the baseball player in fear that her image would be damaged by a new romance. Despite signing a prenup before their marriage, the bitter divorce between Odom and Kardashian looks set to drag on for a prolonged period of time as both look to assign blamed for the failure of the relationship.
