The 5’5″ eternally young actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley does not buy into the rumors that her country music star husband Brad Paisley committed adultery with singer Carrie Underwood. In fact, the 42-year-old actress and star of both “Father of the Bride” films finds the accusations humorous.

US Magazine asked her about the rumors when the caught up with her at the 5th Annual African Children’s Choir Gala this past Thursday. Williams, who has been married to her husband for ten years, laughed as she learned that the National Enquirer, a periodical known for its journalistic integrity, had made mention of her. Upon hearing that the tabloid paper published a story about the infidelity, she began to laugh and expressed hope that it would provide a boost to each of their respective careers.

“Am I in the National Enquirer? You’re breaking it to me! What did I do?” the “Nashville” actress told Us Weekly on Nov. 21 at the 5th Annual African Children’s Choir Gala. “Are you serious? Wow! I hope it helps our careers! That’s all I can say.”

Williams-Paisley went on to explain that their family life is central. They are people know for being unpretentious, enjoying family Sundays, and taking every occasion to be together along with their two sons Huck & Jasper who are ages 6 and 4 respectively. She said that what she loves the most about her husband is his ability to make her laugh in those moments that matter most to her.
