Brooklyn Nets center Kris Humphries has moved on from his marriage to the reality television personality Kim Kardashian. He’s stopped talking about his 72 hour marriage and has been seen wooing other woman, but he has one key piece of business to take care of. According to reports, Humphries is taking steps to sell the diamond engagement ring that he had once presented to the starlet.

The celebrity couple’s whirlwind romance played out over several months in 2011. The couple was engaged in June and married in August of that year. The eyes of the reality television world were firmly focused on the duo as their rather lavish wedding ceremony was filmed for Kardashian’s television show.

The couple’s divorced was even more publicized than the wedding as it took over 18 months for them to settle. During that time, Kardashian hooked up with and mothered a child with music superstar, Kanye West.

The diamond ring in question is slated to be auctioned off in October at the world famous Christie’s Auction House in New York. Representatives of Christie’s are keeping the identity of the seller confidential, but with the leaded knowledge of the previous owner, the ring valued originally at 3 to 5 hundred thousand dollars is sure to increase.
