Lindsey Lohan Wrote Song in 2004 to Torture Her Ex

Only in the mind of a headstrong teenage girl would someone think of recording a song to torture a former boyfriend. However, try telling that to embattled actress Lindsey Lohan who at age 27 probably isn’t much more mature than she was at age 17 when she wrote the song “Over”. Lohan was a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and was shown a video of her performing the song back in 2004. So much has changed for the actress since that time.

After watching the clip, Lohan admitted that she wrong the song within 24 hours of her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, dumping her. The breakup occurred during the time she was filming the Disney film “Herbie Fully Loaded” which would go onto gross $144 million on a budget of $50 million. She was actually living with Valderrama at the time they broke up. So she penned the song and recorded it promptly. She then played it back at full volume throughout the house to literally torture him. One would’ve thought that by torturing her ex she was referring to making him recall all that he was missing from her. Instead, she likely instilled in him an image of her being quite mental if he didn’t already have that impression.

The song eventually made its way on her debut CD called “Speak” later than year. While Lohan’s singing career was short lived, the CD itself performed well selling over a quarter-million units in its first week and eventually topping sales of one million units a few years later.
