Not everyone is familiar with the name but the entire world is getting very well acquainted with the body. Lucy Mecklenburgh, the 21 year old British actress and model, very deservedly walked away a winner in this year’s HolidayPlace.co.uk pole to find out who has the very best bikini body.
It was clear to voters that the beautiful brunette does all of the work needed to get that body bikini ready.
She was introduced to the world on a reality show “The Only Way Is Essex” on British TV in 2010.
At the time she was a boutique owner and a love interest of co-star Mark Wright and later Mario Falcone. The television exposure really helped her modeling career and her paying gigs started to really take off. In 2012 she was signed to help model the new line of swimwear for Bella Bamba.
The competition for the 2013 best bikini was perhaps the strongest field ever.
She edged out pop singing sensation Rihanna and American reality show star Khloe Kardashian, who took third place after losing some extra weight.
Chart topper Beyoncé and movie star Jessica Alba each received eight per cent of the vote, putting them in joint fourth place.
Bride-to be-Millie Mackintosh, who recently embarked on a juice diet, snatched sixth place with seven per cent of women saying her slim frame was their favourite.
Soap star Michelle Keegan and Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took a respectable seventh place, with each garnering four per cent of the votes.
One poll reader said: ‘I admire Lucy Mecklenburgh so much – she is such an inspiration with an amazing figure.
‘I’ve watched TOWIE from the start and she has always been slim but the fact that she has taken it on herself to tone up further when she doesn’t need to is great.
‘She has inspired so many women of all ages to exercise and her bikini body shows that hard work really does pay off.’
Mecklenburgh has launched her own range of bikinis!
The collection features monokini one pieces, bandeau and strapless styles, padded and classic strings, all embellished with crystals.
