37-year-old hip hop singer Mathangi Arulpragasam AKA M.I.A. of England certainly increased her star power by performing during the half-time show of Super Bowl XLVI in February, 2012. The tour riders for celebrities has become the stuff of legend.

Some stars have requested special trailers or sets be erected for their exclusive use during the filming of a movie or tour. In some cases, the sets built for the celebrity have cost more than the average home of an American and goes well beyond what many people have through much of the world.

However, she curiously required three females who would be dancers on stage with her as part of the rider.

The women were to be in their early twenties but not older than 25.

Additionally, they were to be of similar height and build and willing to wear full body Burkas as they “grooved” to her music. M.I.A. stunned many viewers of the Super Bowl by flashing her middle finger at the TV cameras during her song “Give Me All Your Luvin”.
