Man Phones Local Council for Help Against Harassing Frog
Crawley, England – The local council in this Southern English city in the West Sussex province has had its share of peculiar requests from some of the 106,000 constituents they serve. Some of the notable requests in the past have been requests for money. Admittedly, times are hard and a fellow Englishman down on his luck may not have many places to turn for help. In one case, a man needed help to purchase a rail pass to attend a funeral and phoned the local council. It all likelihood they turned down the request.
Now, the council is reporting that a man phoned them from top of the stairs of his residence. He was unable to exit because a frog sat at the base of the stairs harassing him. The council member explained to him that the critter would likely depart on its own and that he should not be concerned about it. He disagreed and wanted someone from animal control to arrive and dispatch the menacing amphibian.
In another instance, a female constituent was in need of some retail therapy after arriving home from work. She asked the local council for some money to help her buy some clothes.
