Basketball Wardrobe Malfunction and Gay slurs

We are all familiar with wardrobe problems on the red carpet, fashion shows, at concerts, and on set as an actor, but who ever heard of malfunctions on the court. On Wednesday night, while paying against the Detroit Pistons, and with only 36 seconds on the clock, San Antonio Spur’s Star Manu Ginobili had a strange wardrobe malfunction. While defending the Piston’s shooting guard, Rodney Stuckley, his left foot came down at a weird angle, causing his foot to break through the sole of his sneaker.

There was a small break in the game as he replaced the shoe. The Spurs went on to win the game 120-110 at the AT&T Center. He had said that his first pair of shoes slowed him down in the beginning but soon got into form during the third quarter.

Also in the news, Arland Bruce, a CFL All-Star, was cut from his team, the Montreal Alouettes, after urging gay football player, Michael Sam, to ‘Man Up’ and ‘Submit to God’ in a twitter comment. He apologized for his comments, but was fined and cut form his team. The CFL commented that his statements were disappointing and did not represent the opinions of the CFL.
