mc hammer charges dropped following Feb Arrest
Rapper MC Hammer, whose legal name is Stanley Kirk Burrell, was so relieved to have the charges dropped after his arrest last month in Dublin, CA, that he immediately alerted his fans via a Twitter posting that also thanked everyone for their ongoing support.
chubby elvis looking dude was tapping on my car window, I rolled down the window and he said'"Are you on parole or probation?"

Hammer had originally claimed that police officials pulled over his car simply because he is black in a case of racial profiling. But police officers contended that his car stereo levels were creating a public nuisance and that the car he was driving was not registered to Hammer.
Police arrested the 50-year old rapper on charges of obstructing an officer in the performance of his duties and resisting arrest.
No one at the police station in Dublin was willing to offer any further comment or explanation on why the charges against Hammer had been so quickly dismissed and no word from Hammer if he plans a discrimination lawsuit.
The rapper, 50, took to Twitter to let his followers know about the situation, writing:
Thank You to all my friends and supporters.
All CHARGES DECLINED. Dropped.
Have A great Weekend.
