Duggars ‘trying’ for 20th

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the Arkansas family famous for parenting 19 children and for starring in the TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, say they are trying for their twentieth child. Though some might balk at the responsibility of caring for twenty kids, the Duggars told media outlets that they felt another child would be a blessing.

Michelle Duggar said that she and Jim Bob were enjoying life with their nineteen children and that they were also pleased to be able to spend time with their three grandchildren. The Duggars said that if having another baby was not a possibility, then they were thankful for the children they already had. Michelle did suffer a miscarriage two years ago.

“I would hope, but we are not expecting right now,” Michelle, 47, shares in a new interview with Celebrity Baby Scoop. “I would be so grateful if the Lord blessed us with another one. We’re trying at this point and we shall see if that is a possibility. If not, we are so thankful and grateful for the ones that God has given us so far. We are also definitely enjoying our grandbabies! They are so precious!”

Although some people have postulated that having so many kids might be hard on a woman’s body, Michelle Duggar said she felt healthy and credited exercise and a good diet.

While some critics suggested that the Duggars should be concerned about contributing to overpopulation, Michelle Duggar said that she did not put much stock into overpopulation theories and that they were mostly hype.

Next year, the Duggars will celebrate 30 years of marriage and 26 years of parenting.

Do you think the Duggar’s should be trying for their 20th child?
