Nancy Grace does not condone legalization of Marijuana

People are firing back after hearing Nancy Grace’s take on the legalization of marijuana in Colorado. Nancy told a CNN correspondent that the new law was a horrible idea. She also said that she would not want someone who was smoking pot taking care of her children or driving her cab. The comments that got the most attention were when she said pot smokers are fat, lazy and lethargic.

People responded by blowing off steam on Twitter. They believe that Nancy has a very skewed vision of people who smoke marijuana. The comments ranged from angry rebuttals to funny and sarcastic. Grace is known for her extreme views on various subjects. Her television show thrives on subject matters that are meant to wake people up to the world around them. Nancy never apologizes for her views on anything, and it is not likely that it will change anytime soon.

She said that Colorado is going to get what they asked for by enacting such laws. In stating so, she does not believe that people who are smoking marijuana should be out driving cars or taking care of children or the elderly. She certainly struck the wrong chord with many people who believe in the law; however, she may have also struck a chord of harmony with people who feel the same way as she does.

Even the Cookie Monster took to twitter to defend pot smokers.
