Atomic Wedgie Leaves One Man Dead

Metro Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – A wedgie is the act of pulling up one man’s underwear, usually from behind, so as to drive the article of clothing up into the crevice of the person’s derriere. However, for 58-year-old Denver St. Clair it ended up being fatal. It has also resulted in a murder charge for his 33-year-old stepson Brad Lee Davis. On the night of Tuesday, December 21, both St. Clair and Davis had been drinking when an argument broke out between both men.

Apparently, the elder St. Claire insulted his stepson’s wife. In retaliation, Davis gave his stepfather an “atomic” wedgie. This is a variation on the standard wedgie and calls for the elastic band to be pulled up high. In Davis’ case, he pulled the band up over St. Claire’s head and neck resulting in blunt force trauma and suffocation.

Crime scene investigators said the old man’s neck showed signs of “ligature” or strangulation. They also found blood splatter stains across the home’s living room & ceiling and the kitchen. Davis was arrested for murder and currently sits in county jail as no bond is being authorized. Reporters have not been able to get a statement from his attorney at this time.
