What do you do if your boyfriend crashes while skiing and suffers a major injury? Pose for the cameras, of course!

Paris Hilton’s boyfriend, River Viiperi, suffered a leg injury requiring 19 stitches while on a ski trip with his famous girlfriend. Because a ski entered his leg during the crash, Viiperi required medical attention and left the scene on a stretcher. The injury damaged the area around his knee which will require Viiperi to use crutches for a lengthy period of time.

Photos surfaced shortly after the incident of Hilton posing for photographers on the back of the rescue vehicle that pulled Viiperi’s stretcher. While her Twitter feed contained comments regarding details of the accident and concern for Viiperi’s condition, the photos reflected concern for the cameras only.

“Such a scary day on the slopes today,” Hilton, 32, wrote on her Pheed account. “After seeing the gash on @RiverViiperi’s leg, I almost passed out. I have never seen a cut that deep in my life. He is so brave, I can’t even imagine the pain he went through today.”

Even under the most intense conditions, Ms. Hilton can be counted on to throw a pose to her millions of fans.
