Paul Walker death was speed a factor? Investigation Continues
Investigators conducting a probe on Paul Walker’s death have suggested that speed could be the decisive factor in the fatal incident. Previously, the Los Angeles Sheriff County received a tip-off that the Porsche Carrera GT, driven by Walker at the time of his death, was racing with another driver before it crashed into a light utility pole. However, investigators now believe that Walker was not racing with a second car, but the evidence points to excessive speed as a factor in Walker’s death, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Cohen said.
The Porsche Carrera GT, driven by Paul Walker, was known in driver’s enthusiast circles for its difficulty to handle, even for professional drivers. Autoweek magazine have called the car “scary”.
Others have agrees to this assessment. Music producer Mally Mall sold his Porsche Carrera GT a few years ago, citing the fact that he could not control the vehicle 100% of the time. He added that the car was sometimes uncontrollable at speeds over 140 miles per hour.
Paul Walker’s death comes at a time when he was filming seventh sequel to the Fast and Furious franchise. There have been an outpouring support from his friends and family.
