Sharon Osbourne phoned 911 on January 17, 2013 at 4:45 a.m. to report a fire. Ozzy can be heard mumbling in the background, apparently assuring Sharon that the fire is out. However, she wants to be sure, so she asks for the Fire Department’s assistance.

TMZ insinuates that this fire from an out of control candle might have led to the couple’s recent split. TMZ states that Ozzy had been abusing drugs for the year and a half prior and has only been sober for 45 days. Since the candle fire that caught a table ablaze happened more than 45 days ago, it is presumed that Ozzy was blitzed at the time of the 911 call.

Sharon is clearly desperate for help on the 911 audio recording, but she may have just wanted help dealing with Ozzy. She tells the 911 operator that her husband put the fire out, but she’s calling because she doesn’t trust him to properly extinguish the flames. The fire did reportedly cause “significant” damage.

The two have reportedly split up recently, as reported by gossip sites TMZ and Perez Hilton. The house didn’t burn down, but will their 31 year marriage survive the heat?
